Anna McGrane is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, New York University School of Law, Peking University School of Law, and Fullstack Academy of Code. Speaking five languages, Anna practiced at the London firm of Herbert Smith Freehills in its Moscow office and with the NRDC in Beijing. She is an organizing member of the NYU Law & Tech community and the Baylor University Brain Trust. She has been featured in Legal Tech News and Lawyers Who Code, and is a Fastcase 50 honoree.
CIO and Co-founder
An ABA Journal Legal Rebel, Class of 2014, and Fastcase 50 Honoree, Gavin McGrane is a graduate of the University of California at Davis and McGeorge School of Law. Gavin practiced for seven years, primarily focusing on complex commercial litigation. He founded PacerPro because he saw an opportunity to leverage technology and public data to help push the practice of law forward.
Dhana Bala has 17+ years of leadership experience building disparate software systems across categories such as cybersecurity, IoT, networking, and wireless technologies. Dhana's prior executive roles include CTO at Deep Sentinel, and Head of Engineering at Plume WiFi. She's held various leadership roles at companies such as Illumio, Aruba Networks, Motorola, Ruckus Wireless, and Pareto Networks. Dhana has an MS in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University, and holds patents in IoT, and Identity and Access management.
Director of Product
A McGill Law grad, James spent eight years as a securities litigation associate, first at Skadden and then at Orrick. While at Orrick, he oversaw data analytics projects and a global bank’s first use of predictive coding in e-discovery. At PacerPro, James acts as a bridge between our development team and law firms, with a special focus on litigation data and technology integration.
Senior Account Executive
Julee has more than 20 years of experience in legal technology, consulting with law firms and Fortune 250 corporate legal teams to streamline and improve their workflows. She loves building long-term client partnerships and solving problems using technology.
Director of Design
A collaborative Design Leader who’s helped shape innovative products alongside real people for over 20 years. Brian combines design thinking, user research and experience strategy, all with a relentless focus on the user. Over the years, Brian has worked with a diverse group of product teams including Shutterfly, Intuit, EP and Move to create insight led, human-centered products.
Amanda holds a BS in Resource Management, Wildlife Emphasis and a BA in Native American Studies from UC Berkeley. Amanda started her career as an environmental educator and public information specialist, for nonprofits, city agencies, and water districts. At PacerPro, Amanda supports human resources and accounting, and assists with data projects.
Brad is a seasoned financial professional, who has focused much of his career in the SaaS industry. He enjoys building out the accounting / finance / HR functions for start-ups and watching them grow with the needs of the company. Brad graduated with his B.A. of Business Administration from the University of Washington and earned his C.P.A. (inactive) from the Washington State Board of Accountancy.
Staff Software Engineer
Chris Osborn is a software developer with 10 years of experience and a master's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. Previous work experience includes Wolfram Alpha LLC, Microsoft and legal technology company DocketFish. At PacerPro, Chris’s focus is writing code to enable attorneys to receive their important documents quickly, reliably and easily.
Junior Account Executive
A graduate of East Carolina University, Monroe is responsible for the sales development cycle of prospective customers. His workflow involves performing product demos, connecting with prospects, and managing deal stages. Before joining PacerPro, Monroe was a Senior Business Development Representative at North State Consulting, spearheading outbound sales initiatives.
A graduate of San Jose State University with a BS in Computer Science, Daniel is focused on sharpening his software engineering craft and contributing to PacerPro’s mission. Daniel is a lifelong learner who engineers high-quality systems with a customer-centric mindset. Daniel is responsible for building and maintaining the rich set of features that make PacerPro unique and useful.
Sr. Customer Success Associate
A Customer Success professional, Christian has lead Customer Success teams throughout different companies. During the past 8 years while leading teams in both the private and public sector he has leveraged the use of technology to empower individuals to achieve higher success in their day to day operations. At PacerPro Christian communicates with our customers and uses his knowledge of our product to help solve any problems for these individuals.
Site Reliability Engineer
Michael is a multifaceted infrastructure architect and SRE (Site Reliability Engineer), known for exceptional performance and subscribes to Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps & Chaos Engineering philosophies. He is a passionate lifetime learner and prioritizes keeping up to date with current technologies. Michael is recognized by his peers for his understanding and ability to identify risks and then to architect solutions to mitigate risk before an outage.
A University of California Irvine graduate with a BS in Computer Science. Jason is a lifetime learner actively seeking an opportunity to expand and enhance his skill set through professional development. At PacerPro, his focus is on developing and maintaining a set of features that PacerPro provides its customers.
Jake is a Sales professional with over six years of experience. Before PacerPro, Jake was a Director of Sales and Execution at North State Consulting, leading over eight different BDR teams in the legal tech space. His workflow now involves performing product demos, connecting with prospects, and managing deal stages.

Susana holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is currently completing her Master's degree in Learning Technology and Experience Design at New York University. Her professional experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Miami and being part of the Moffatt & Nichol Human Resources Team. Susana is an enthusiastic runner and a voracious reader in her free time, constantly seeking out new books.
